In this video, I'm back at the Coachella Safari campgrounds (weekend 1), one of the most exclusive experiences at the festival, with packages running anywhere from $10,000 to $35,000 for a four-night stay. Our cabana was $11,000, and while it might seem crazy at first, it comes with some cool perks like being able to ride around in a golf cart instead of walking, two guest passes, which are the best tickets you can get, free food, and even massages. I’ll be giving you a quick room tour, then heading out and asking people what they do for a living, how much they make to afford this luxury experience, and any advice they have to share.

This was my third year at Safari, and every year brings something new. I chatted with people in tents, cabanas, and even a few from the residences and yurts, and the stories were wild. The heat was intense, and the camera kept overheating, making things a bit chaotic. I also forgot to turn the mic on :( Despite these setbacks, I had some amazing conversations and met many interesting people who really knew how to make things happen.
Some details about the Safari camping experience in 2025: the tents cost around $10,000 to $12,000 for two tickets, with an extra $3,000 per additional person for up to four people. Cabanas run about$10,000-$12,000 for two tickets. The Residences and Yurts, part of The Resort at Coachella, are priced at roughly $27,000-$35,000 (depending on when you book it) and include perks like a fenced area, private golf cart access, daily maid service, nightly dinner reservations, and more.
Standard Safari tents come with free food, massages, golf cart access, accommodations, concierge service, and guest wristbands to access exclusive areas. It might not look glamorous, and the bathrooms could use some work, but if you have the extra cash, the perks you get truly make it worth it.
Last year, I stayed in a tent, and even though I thought about upgrading to a Residence or Yurt this year, I decided it was just too much. Maybe next year! Or it might also be the final year for Safari :(
