Mountain bikers spend a lot of time talking about the "flex" of steel mountain bike frames.
They say that they can feel the frame flex on the trail, that steel is more compliant, that frames twist in corners, or feel like spaghetti.
But is it actually true? Does a steel frame flex more than a carbon fibre one?
We decided it was time to put it to the test and setup our own VERY scientific test at the Starling Worskshop.
You might be surprised with the results!
