Generation 4 had bright, colorful art, excellent bright piano-dominant soundtrack that brought me joy, and a STRONG batch of new pokemon (that they didn’t even let us play with half of!) Fishing is good, trade pokemon are NOT WORSE than emerald, and balance is stronger than it's ever been. So what could still be imperfect?? Pokémon Diamond and Pearl is the closest call I’ve yet had to make between versions, so I didn’t play up the version comparison aspect of this vid. Pearl team would have been Chatot, Mismagius, Roserade, Wormadam, Floatzel, Garchomp if anyone’s curious.
