An interesting machining job. Making some collar clamps on lathe and milling machine.

I machine two aluminium collar clamps for my velomobile project. This video shows the machining sequence, warts and all, from barstock to end product. I am using my Myford Super 7B lathe and X3 milling machine fitted with digital read out. You can buy collar clamps like these, but I needed a custom size to fit my project and I am too tight to pay the cash anyway.
