Hi guys ! This video will show you how to write a cool guitar riff in the Riffer interface from AmpleSound. I'll be using the AGG plug-in, but you can use any of the VSTs from the Ample guitar collection.

Riffer have been recently updated. You can watch my new tutorial here (and more on my channel) :

For this lesson, make sure that the tempo is set 120 bpm and that the track delay is set at -50 ms. Open the plug-in, make sure the Start and the Pick accentuation knobs are set at their minimum value. Deactivate the reverb in the effect section, go the Riffer and create a new riff !
You'll see that for every note we program we can adjust the velocities, add some legato (hammer-on and pull-offs), put a vibrato and choose between palm mute and sustain modes. The result is great and achieved in no time :D
If you want to practice with the bridge and the end, just download the .griff files by clicking on the link below. You'll also get the playback files :

Hope you enjoy the tutorial ! If you did, give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel ! More Ample Sound videos on the way !!!
