Alternative Counterweight Recommendations for the ZWO AM5N Mount

I've always wondered about the wisdom of having a telescope with no counterweights on the other side. And then I went and bought a ZWO AM5N. Now, I'm taking a close look at ZWO's recommendations for the counterweights. I found some interesting "uh ohs". I also try to get a handle on the RA motor torque required during guiding. More "uh ohs"? What gives?
