In this video I am showing the best way to learn modes! Normally, modes are practiced in C major and this brings a lot of challenges to hear the real differences. My approach is looking at the modes in parallel, using the same root. Building the modes in parallel (starting from the same root) allows you to see and hear the differences. Learn each mode's unique identity , so you can easily identify it when you hear it, and learn its particular moods and fell.
