Algocanada battling ice in Algonac!

On February 7, 2025, Algoma tanker Algocanada called upon the assistance of the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Samuel Risley (also known as "big Sam") to help her battle through the thick ice on the St.Clair River by Algonac as she made her way northward to Sarnia! It was a tough, tense battle, with lots of back and forth action by Big Sam to free up Algocanada who did get caught up in the thick ice, but eventually, Algocanada won the battle of the ice and was able to continue on her way!
