The Andalusian watercolors of Albéniz, a reflection of the Orientalist clichés in Paris at the turn of the century, were conceived at the same time that other national voices were emerging whose cultural roots had remained impervious to the influence of flamenco. The Basque case, with Donostia at the forefront, and its subsequent imprint on today's music are the alternative scenario proposed in this second recital of the cycle dedicated to those places not explored by Iberia.
