Today, we're taking an in-depth dive into the ILS System of the Airbus A320. We're going to show you how to perform an ILS Approach 3 ways... Fully Managed - A/C Does everything via the Autopilot Managed / Selected - Where we can to manually choose the rate of descent in the even of a LOC (GS Out) Procedure Raw Data ILS - Where as a Pilot you have to manually fly the ILS capturing the Localizer and Glide slope without the aid of the Flight Directors (FDs) scanning your instruments along the way as you manually fly down to minimums and then land.
