Today we learn about another of the great four imams – and perhaps the most commonly misunderstood –Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. His awareness of the sanctity and spiritual greatness of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is reflected in the immense care he took in not only maintaining the words of the Hadith, but also their spirit.
