In this video, Dustin Valkema walks through the process of adding grunge to our 3D materials in Cinema 4D and Redshift. Using grunge textures is a great way to break up the surface of a model when in look development, and they’re quite simple to use. You’ll learn how to build a base paint texture here and in part 2, you’ll be adding wear and tear with metallic scratches!
Though this tutorial is in Cinema 4D and Redshift, the same principles apply to any 3D software you may be using.
