He says he accepts City are the underdogs and discusses how close his team is to getting back to their best form—saying they need to rediscover their consistency. He also speaks about how highly he rates Madrid’s frontline with the addition of Kylian Mbappé this season and the key to combatting them, whether he’s happy to be playing the first leg of the tie at home, and how much winning the tie could lift confidence for the rest of the season. Despite their inconsistency, he’s sure his side will be able to put in a performance tomorrow.
