We have a brand new comet! It is visible in binoculars.
Update April 20: this comet has been fading over the last several days, and the nucleus has become elongated and dim. These signs are consistent with ongoing disintegration. It appears unlikely that it will be visible to binoculars in the evenings as original predicted.
In addition to the new comet, we will cover how to see the telescopic comets available this month.
