At just 2 AM in the morning, Shaffer is seen on video camera outside the Ugly Tuna Saloona talking to two women and, after he steps out of sight of the camera, he vanishes and is never seen or heard of again. Theories abound; murder, suicide, accidental death, and running off to start a new life. It appears he never returned home, his car still parked out from of the apartment building.
