8 Day / 200KM Solo Camping Journey: Completely Alone on Remote Wilderness River

Back in May, 2024 I ventured off on an 8 day solo canoe trip covering 200km of the beautiful Pic River. I started up near the town of Longlac, Ontario near highway 11 and ended 8 days later at highway 17 near the shores of Lake Superior and the town of Marathon. This trip easily became one of my favourite adventures to date, the scenery was jaw-dropping and the wildlife was more abundant than I’d ever seen.
