7 Brain Tumors every Radiologist should know
This video is about 7 brain tumors (in adult patients) that every radiologist should be able to recognize with confidence on imaging: cerebral metastases, glioblastoma, meningioma, schwanomma, pituitary adenoma, adult type diffuse glial tumors & CNS-lymphoma. These tumors show up often, they matter clinically, and they each have distinct imaging features that, once you've seen them a few times, become hard to forget. We'll look at key MRI findings, typical locations, and important diagnostic clues that help differentiate them. This video is aimed at radiology residents, but even if you're further along in your training, it’s always good to revisit the essentials. This presentation was made for the Student Association for Neurology and Neuropediatrics (Carol Davila Univeristy, Bucharest, Romania) and contains fragments or slides from other presentations available on this channel. 0:00 - Introduction 2:11 - Cerebral Metastases 15:46 - Glioblastoma 28:52 - Meningioma 54:27 - Schwannomas 1:00:25 - Pituitary adenomas 1:10:04 - Astrocytoma & Oligodendroglioma 1:26:34 - CNS-lymphoma 1:36:32 - Summary & Key Messages If you want to slides to this video, they can be found at https://theneuroradiologist.gumroad.com/l/7braintumors. #radiology #neuroradiology #neurology #neurosurgeon #glioblastoma #braintumor #meningioma #schwannoma #adenoma #astrocytoma #oligodendroglioma #lymphoma #medicaleducation #medical #medicalstudent
