Chad provides a comprehensive lesson on two methods of calculating the Enthalpy of a reaction from thermodynamic data: Hess's Law and Enthalpy of Formation data. Three Hess's Law examples are worked out completely from start to finish. Then an example of calculating Delta H from Enthalpies of Formation is performed as well. Finally, the lesson is concluded by defining what a Formation Reaction is, and how using them is really just a special application of Hess's Law.
I've embedded this playlist as a course on my website with all the lessons organized by chapter in a collapsible menu and much of the content from the study guide included on the page. Check this lesson out at https://www.chadsprep.com/chads-general-chemistry-videos/hesss-law/
