The Adventure of the Illustrious Client is one of the twelve stories published as The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in June 1927. This particular story was first published in the US in Collier's in November 1924, and in The Strand Magazine in February March 1925 in the UK.
