Today, I'm sharing the 40+ items we are putting in our families 72 hour bug out bags with all our survival essentials. With national preparedness month approaching in September, now is the perfect time to make a 72 hour emergency bag. A 72 hour bug out bag is a portable kit that contains items you would require to survive 72 hours when evacuating from a disaster or being asked to leave your home. Whether it is a hurricane, earthquake, tornado, wildfire, chemical spill, or gas leak, you will be able to quickly grab the items you and your family will need.
