2.9 The Moore-Penrose Pseudoinverse
This lecture is part of Chapter 2 (Linear Algebra) of the course "Deep Learning Mathematics and Theory".
In this lecture, Adam Dhalla explains the origins of the mathematical definition for the Moore-Penrose Pseudoinverse, and what it means intuitively. This video is longer than most in the series for two main reasons; one, because the Moore-Penrose Pseudoinverse is a subject that requires great attention to detail, and second because many introductory linear algebra courses barely touch on it, so no assumptions were made in preliminary understanding.
Adam Dhalla is a high school student in Vancouver, British Columbia. More of his stuff can be found at adamdhalla.com
