$24K Clearing Job Just Turned into $45K | Road Washed & Trapped Equipment

Join me on a packed day tackling job checkups and pricing projects post-storm! 🌧️ Starting the cold morning off in West Jefferson with Vince, we’re back on-site digging footers for the Superior Walls — getting this project back on track after storm delays. Next up, I head over to assess a site where a culvert and bridge washed away, stranding a company's equipment on the other side. Pricing out that repair turned out to be steeper than I’d hoped... Then, it's off to a clearing job we priced a month or so ago to check the land condition and break some unexpected news to the customer on a higher price adjustment. We also swing by our 4,000-foot road construction project to see how it held up after the heavy rains—making our way through other washed-out roads to get there. I end the day in Asheville, meeting with some fantastic customers we’ve been working with since the storm, who’ve been generous enough to keep our crew fueled with lunch each day.
