The F150 is the best selling truck in North America and the electric Lightning has had a 50% increase in sales year over year. It's not hard to see why. You can save thousands of dollars a year on fuel costs by moving to the Lightning, it has more power than most traditional F150 engines and has all the comfort you'd expect from the Ford lineup. I spent a week with an F150 and really enjoyed the time I had with it. I think that Ford has done a great job with the Lightning and can see the value it offers to most people. You can safely store your tools while they're charging up between job sites, travel up to 320 miles (515 km) before needing to charge up and you can tow up to 10,000 lbs!
