4K Plane Spotting at London City Airport from close up. LCY airport is the smallest, but most centrally located airport in London. Thanks to it's close proximity to the banking district of Canary Wharf, the airport is mainly used by business travelers. This fact also influences the destinations served from here. Due to the tall buildings surrounding the airport a much steeper approach is needed. Also the very short runway limits the aircraft types which can fly to London City Airport.
