1970s kit computer! Tangerine Microtan-65
All about the Tangerine Microtan-65, a modular kit-based computer from 1979. It has a 6502 CPU. Our example has an expansion card which takes it from the original 1k RAM to 8k RAM, and provides a cassette interface, Microsoft BASIC and some useful utility roms including incredibly advanced functions such as clearing the screen!
Tangerine were a Cambridge company founded around the same time as Acorn. They went on to make the Oric-1, which the machine also has an example of.
The video shows off a new case we've made for the machine, which previously only had a wooden case which was overflowing! The design for the keyboard case came from http://microtan.thegrahamfamily.me.uk
