I found this 1940s school desk on Facebook marketplace and knew I had to have it. The desk was £50 so I didn't try to haggle as it's a lovely piece. Unfortunately the desk had seen a rough life and even had some wood worm which I've never had to deal with before, I also wanted to try my best to do a true restoration and even try to finish the desk using french polish another new technique for me. I'm super happy with the finished result and will probably put the desk up for sale now. How much do you think it's worth now fully restored?
