10th Anniversary Edition of Samarpan Series - Talk at Dharmakshetra by Sri S S Naganand, Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust - 13th April, 2025 The 10th Anniversary edition of SAMARPAN was held on 13 April 2025, and we were fortunate to have with us Sri S.S. Naganand, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, as our guest speaker for this special session. Sri S. S. Naganand hails from a well-known lawyer family from Bengaluru. He was blessed with his first darshan of Swami in 1965. He was the youngest trustee appointed by Swami to the Sri Sathya Sai Medical Trust in the year 2000. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council as a nominee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and a member of the Board of Management of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. On the education front, he completed his B.Com. from St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bengaluru, in 1977, and thereafter passed LLB with three gold medals in 1980, and in the same year also qualified as a chartered accountant with a national merit rank. After completing his education, Sri Naganand started his chartered accountancy practice in 1981 and later in the same year joined his father's chambers as an advocate. He was designated Senior Advocate by the High Court of Karnataka in 2003. He appears regularly in the Supreme Court of India, international arbitrations, and in Karnataka and all other high courts in India and many tribunals in the areas of arbitration, constitutional law, infrastructure law, intellectual property law, company law, and taxation. In 2008, Sri Naganand founded a law firm known as ‘Justlaw’ in Bengaluru. He was conferred with a special honor as a Living Legend in Law by the Bar Association of India in December 2020. He also holds the position of vice president of "LAWASIA,’ an international association of lawyers from Asia and the Pacific. Widely traveled, fluent in nine languages, and an author rolled into one, Sri Naganand wrote an English commentary on Adi Shankaracharya's Prashnottara Rathna Malika, which was released in October 2017 by PM Sri Narendra Modi, followed by a plethora of books, with one of them translated into ten Indian languages. He is the second son of the late Sri S. G.
