Other Adjustments:
I built the map by hand in creative and put the starting materials into the chest myself based on my observations of what might be needed. You need lava, a bucket with water, pickaxe and a hammer, cattails, starting food, some seeds to propagate and growing soil at minimum.
I modified the obsidian texture by hand to be much brighter than it actually is. I bumped the exposure on it by 2x. Otherwise things are way too dark. I also adjusted the basalt texture to be 1.5x brighter.
