More Lessons: http://www.MathAndScience.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/JasonGibsonMath In this lesson, you will learn what a quadratic system of equations is and how to solve them using the method of substitution. A quadratic system is a set of equations where one or more terms are quadratic in nature, which means that there is one or more squared terms in the equations. In order to solve these systems, we must solve for one variable and substitute it into the other equation. Then we can find the values of both variables and the system is said to be solved. You have total freedom to decide which variable to solve for and which equation to substitute it in to complete the solution. The final solution should be one or more points where the quadratic equations intersect.
