These systems of equations can contain lines, circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbola (all conic sections and the equation of a line). We will review the equations of these conic sections, and draw sketches to understand what the solutions of quadratic systems of equations can look like. In these systems, we can have zero, one, two, three, or four real solutions.
