I was dicking around and make positive copies with negative film. Think DSLR scanning, but with an SLR and instead of scans you get positive images on a strip of negative film.
I first started with b&w film, it worked exactly the way you'd expect and you get positive b&w images. Then I moved to c41, it worked but it had a dense orange mask over everything. And then it all went off the rails.
I took my old trichrome negatives and triple exposed them on a single frame of color film with their respective filters. That sort of worked and then I realized I could try this with infrared trichrome.
Basically, this was a long convoluted way to tell you I wasted a whole bunch of film and time.
